STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION (SSC) India has advertised for the recruitment of about 42422 posts of constable GD in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Border Security Force (BSF), Indo Tibet Border Police Force (ITBP), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Assam Rifles.

- Constable (General Duty - GD) - Male : 39574 posts in various states (Assam Rifles - 6060, BSF-10640, CISF-2250, CRPF-10189, SSB-4691, ITBP-5744), Age : 18-23 years, Pay Scale : Rs. 5200 - 20200 grade pay Rs.2000, Qualification : 10th pass or Matriculation or High School
Application Fee: Rs.50/- (No fee for Women/ SC/ST/PH and Ex-Servicemen)
Last date of application: 02/01/2012 via online application and for offline application 04/01/2012 (11/01/2012 for the candidates of far-flung areas)
